CLR Marine Store Policy

CLR Marine is an authorized dealer for the products that we sell.

 

Please inspect and test the product once it is delivered.

If a unit does not operate properly within 3 days of the delivery date, please email us by using the Contact Us page at the top of our website. We will work with you to resolve any issues with the product we sold you.

 

Freight charges are not refundable. If a return and credit is requested for, a "free ground shipping" offer the credit will be processed minus the standard carrier residential freight charges based on your zip code and our shipping warehouse location and any applicable re-stocking charge.

 

Starters, Alternators, and Electronic Ignitions will take 90+ days for a refund due to the fact it has to be inspected at the factory. These units will be shipped back to the distributor, the distributor ships once every 30 days back to the factory. You may be at the beginning of the cycle or the end we have no way of knowing. Then the Manufacturer has 90 day to decided if the item is defective or if it is a used item. After that, a refund will be issued or you will pay shipping for the third time to get the item back if the item is demeaned used or not defective.

 

No returns will be accepted if the serial number / UPC code is removed from the box or the item.

No returns will be accepted if the whole package contents are not included in the return.

No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number (RMA) issued by CLR Marine LLC

No returns will be accepted if the order is refused upon receipt.

No returns will be accepted on any software, including Charts, CD's, and video's.

No returns will be accepted on paints, thinners and solvents.

Special order items and cut lengths of wire, rope, rod, chain, hose, fabric, cables etc. are not returnable.

UPS will not return any hazardous material such as paints, thinners and solvents.

 

RMA/RGA

Any merchandise returned to CLR Marine or our Distributors, for any reason, must have prior authorization and be accompanied by a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA/RMA) number before being returned. Returned Goods Authorization numbers will be valid for 10 days from issue date.  A return authorization is not an automatic guarantee of credit. The product will be inspected and in some cases sent back to the manufacturer for inspection which can take up to 90 days.

 

Any unauthorized returns will not be refunded or shiped back to you without payment for that retun shipment. 

 

Units returned must contain all packaging, box, manuals, and accessories that were supplied on delivery and must be in new saleable condition.

 

Certain items are not returnable: Special orders, closeout items and discontinued items for which manufacturers will not accept returns, TV's, batteries, software, memory cards, consumables, storage media, Teleflex and Morse cables.

 

Lost or Damaged Merchandise

Merchandise lost or damaged in shipment is the responsibility of the carrier. A claim must be filed against the carrier for satisfaction. UPS requires you to notify a local UPS office immediately, in order for them to inspect the shipment at your place of business. UPS will initiate the proper claim procedure at that time. Refer to your UPS driver for immediate questions on procedure. For FedEx you may call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to initiate the damaged goods claim. For all other carriers, please contact us immediately.

 

Special Orders 

Special orders cannot be canceled nor returned 

Delivery time is at the discretion of the manufacturers 

All special orders require pre-payment and a Special Order Agreement Form with customer signature.

 

Prices 

Due to the instability of raw material pricing, prices are subject to change without notice

 

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

Back Orders

Although we make every effort to prevent shortages or back orders. If you order an item whose inventory is zero or Zero is reached before we can get the order to one of our distributors, we will notify you via email of the back order situation and the approximate shipping date.

 

Restocking Fees

 

We at CLR Marine charge a $5.00 re-boxing fee for any returned Extend Your Steps. SnapIt Marine charges 15% for any returned item as these are made at time of order. There are some other manufactures that charges return fee's that we are not aware of until they tell us. Which will be passed along to you our customer.

 

Why a restocking fee

 

Restocking fees cover the following costs.


1) credit card Fee's we pay when you purchase from us.

2) someone processing the order

3) someone picking the order

4) shipping materials

5) someone packing the item in the shipping materials

6) someone opening the returned item

7) someone replacing the item on the shelf

8) someone processing the return

9) credit card fees we pay when we refund your payment.


This is the cost that is passed on to us by our distributors, so we now have to pass it on to our customers.

 

CLR Marine Privacy Policy

 

 

CLR Marine collects the following data, name, your credit card billing address with phone number, email address and the ship to address. No customer information will be shared, sold, or otherwise distributed, personal information collected may be transferred to the new owner in the event of a sale. CLR Marine LLC does not participate in any telemarketing or e-mail spam campaigns. All information is strictly confidential. We due use your email address to notify you of any specials or information we feel you would like to have. All emails sent by CLR Marine have a area at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe from further emails.
