Tilted Element™ Thru-Hull
Minimize Your Drag
The P19 model have been the standard in low-profile models for many years. Their large sensitive ceramics allow deep echosounding up to 206M (700'). These nearly flush units minimize drag as only 5mm (2/10") of the housing extends outside of the hull. The plastic P19 provides a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for moreaccurate depth readings.
Applications
Cruising powerboats and sailboats
Sailboats
Features
Depth only or Depth and temperature
Fixed 12° tilted versions for 8° to 15° hull deadrise
Right angle cable exit offers low headroom and protection when transducer is stepped on
Included rubber washer allows tightening of the hull nut to irregular hull surfaces
Housings are ABYC H-27 compliant
Optional temperature sensor
Plastic housing
Boat Size: Up to 9M (30')

GT8HW-IH In-Hull Transducer - 8-Pin
GT8HW-IH transducer is ideal for bass boats that want to install the transducer inside a fiberglass hull and not on the transom where cavitation could cause issues. It requires a flat section in the hull to be mounted and is excellent for boats traveling at high speeds that want to maintain accurate depth readings.
The 8-pin transducer features high-wide CHIRP traditional sonar (150-240 kHz) and has a power rating of 250 W. It can be used in conjunction with a GT30-TM transducer and an adapter cable so you can maintain depth at high speeds and scanning capabilities at trolling speeds.
For installation, follow the included instructions carefully to avoid damaging your boat.

DT812PV-235-N2 - 235kHz - Plastic Thru Hull Smart Sensor - 12° Tilt - NMEA 2000 - 6M Cable
Airmar has taken its proven Tilted Element™ and broadband technologies and applied them to its leading line of Smart™ Sensors. The DT800 is a low-profile, retractable, thru-hull sensor that computes accurate depth and temperature data and sends it to any NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000® display. The DT800 operates at a frequency of 235 kHz and can run simultaneously with other Airmar 50/200 kHz transducers on-board with no interference. The broadband ceramic delivers depth readings to 183 m (600'), as well as accurate shallow-water readings in as little as 500 mm (1.6'). Available in fixed 0°, 12°, or 20° tilt, the DT800 is perfect for power and sailboat applications. It is sold with a choice of rugged housings— plastic, bronze, or stainless steel—to accommodate any vessel type or hull material. These low-profile housings do not affect hull performance and will provide accurate readings at high speeds.
Airmar's Smart™ Sensors have embedded microelectronics—the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signal from the depth transducer is processed right inside the sensor itself. All that is needed to receive depth and temperature data is a single cable into a compatible device or display. Because the ceramic is tilted inside the housing, the transducer beam is oriented straight down, resulting in strong bottom echo returns and accurate depth readings. The retractable housing with a self-closing valve reduces water flow into the vessel when the transducer is removed for cleaning.
