Fits: OMC 25, 40, 50 HP; 2-cyl - 1989-Up; 48-50 HP - 1990-Up. Replaces: OMC. 583482, 585056. 9-tooth drive gear. Uses *DV389 replacement drive gear, *DVK89 2-piece drive kit (fits current-model starters), SR389 repair kit. *NOTE: New OMC outboard starters use a 2-piece drive assembly while older OMC outboard starters use a 1-piece drive assembly. When ordering starter drives make certain you choose the correct drive because the new and old style OMC drive assemblies are not interchangeable!
