NavPilot 300 is not your ordinary Autopilot
The NavPilot 300 is a revolutionary autopilot. With Fantum Feedback, NavPilot outboard installations no longer require use of a physical rudder feedback unit. This results in a streamlined, simplified installation. Combined with Furuno's unique adaptive learning technology, NavPilot 300 provides unmatched outboard Autopilot performance. Fantum Feedback is designed for planing and semi-displacement outboard vessels from 24 to 50 feet, with one to four outboard engines, where it achieves precise course control from slow trolling to speeds of well over 60 knots.
The NavPilot 300/PG-M includes a 1.6L pumpset for boats with a multi-cylinder steering system, as well as the PG700 Fluxgate Compass Heading Sensor with magnetic field distortion correction, providing highly accurate and stable heading information.

Versatile Display Modes on a vivid 4.1" Color LCD Display
The SABIKI™ mode lets the autopilot control while you are drifting astern, so you can focus on fishing instead of steering. Maintaining heading astern while compensating for wind and tide, SABIKI™ mode is uniquely tailored for Sabiki fishing, jigging and bottom fishing.
Other display modes include Furuno's Highway mode, Auto and Advanced Auto modes, and Fish Hunter mode, where one of four pre-programmed maneuvers can be performed around a specified target at a user selected distance. I3007 Rudder Display
The Simrad I3007 Instrument Series offers a 7-inch superior color display with easy touch control, various graphic layouts, and the capability to enable up to eight different functions simultaneously. The NAC-1 Autopilot Computer is recommended for boats up to 9 metres (30 feet) in length. It been designed to reliably drive either the Simrad PUMP-1 reversible hydraulic pump for hydraulic-steered outboards, or the HELM-1 drive unit for cable-steered vessels.
Virtual Rudder Feedback
Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology eliminates the need to install a separate rudder feedback unit aboard outboard and sterndrive (inboard/outboard) boats with planing hulls. This reduces overall autopilot system cost and complexity, and is ideal where a feedback unit is impractical due to mechanical constraints.
Minimum Product Requirements:
A drive unit, heading sensor, NMEA 2000® network, and compatible autopilot controller or multifunction display are required to create a complete autopilot system. Some vessels may also require a rudder feedback unit.

Autopilot settings can be tuned for optimal performance in separate low-speed, high-speed, and Work modes. The user-configurable Work mode allows the autopilot system to be configured for optimal response in a specific situation, such as a fully laden vessel, configurable thruster usage.
No Drift Steering
No Drift mode integrates GPS navigation with auto-steering, using position data to counteract the effects of wind and tide. This allows the AP70 Mk2 to maintain a straight track over ground on the current course, without the need to manually set a waypoint or route.
Navigation steering, route following
Navigation steering controls the ship on a pre-planned route from a Simrad MFD, Simrad ECDIS or third party MFD and ECDIS.
Command transfer and multiple control stations support
Command transfer is a mechanism useful in multi-controller installations. It enables the officer on watch to allow, deny the transfer of autopilot control to control devices such as a secondary AP70 Mk2 or a remote controller on a bridge wing station, above deck, or aft bridge depending on the work scenario. The AP70 Mk2 can also be used in an open configuration, where control flow is unrestricted.

An Octopus Hydraulic Linear Actuator is a simple, effective way to drive the rudder on a boat equipped with a mechanical steering system. The linear actuator is an assembly of an Octopus reversing pump and a marine hydraulic cylinder. This assembly is mounted on the rudder tiller-arm or quadrant. When the autopilot is not in use the cylinder runs freely along with the rudder. When the automatic pilot is in use a solenoid valve on the actuator closes and locks the cylinder. Steering signals from the pilot are now fed to the D.C. motor, which drives the pump to move the cylinder back and forth. De-energized, the solenoid valve immediately disconnects the automatic pilot from the rudder. The actuator has a small translucent oil reservoir, making it easy to check fluid levels. These actuators have only five moving parts. Mechanical simplicity gives our product reliability and ease of service when compared to complicated gear and screw actuators, making our units a favorite for offshore mariners. These actuators are shipped from our factory completely filled with oil and require no additional plumbing.
