EXTEND YOUR STEP ASSEMBLE

1. INSERT TWO STEPS INTO ONE SIDE OF ONE UPRIGHT ALL THE WAY THROUGH UNTIL FLUSH WITH THE OTHER SIDE. 

2. INSERT ONE OF THE SUPPLIED SCREWS IN EACH HOLE TO SECURE THE STEPS.

3. SLIDE THE SECOND UPRIGHT ON UNTIL YOU REACH THE DISTANCE NEEDED BETWEEN THE UPRIGHTS OR UNTIL FLUSH.

4. INSERT ONE SCREW INTO EACH OF THE STEPS.

5. IF THE DESIRED DISTANCE BETWEEN THE UPRIGHTS IS SHORTER THAN THE PRE-CUT WIDTH, USE A HACKSAW TO CUT OFF THE ENDS OF THE STEPS PROTRUDING OUT OF THE UPRIGHT.

6. There are three holes in the top of your Extend Your Step

1. The two holes that are opposite each other are to secure the Extend Your Step to your boarding ladder using plastic wire ties.

2. The top hole is to secure the Extend Your Step to a piece of line when used as a dinghy ladder with plastic wire ties.

Due to the inherent oils in Starboard we suggest adding just enough lead fishing weight to the under side of the bottom step, to stop the Extend Your Step from floating up.  We do not do this in order to save you the added shipping costs.
