Yamada NDP-15BAT 1/2 in Aluminum AODD Pump, PTFE Diaphragms
The Yamada NDP-15BAT is a genuine Yamada NDP-15 series air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump, built with an aluminum pump body and PTFE diaphragms and valve balls. It uses compressed shop air, not electricity, to reciprocate a pair of diaphragms that alternately draw fluid in on one side of the pump and push it out the other, which lets it run dry without damage, self-prime from a lift, and pass moderate solids without stalling.
With a 1/2 in port and up to 13.5 GPM, this pump is sized for light-to-medium duty transfer, dosing and wash-down work. As with any AODD pump, never run it against a fully closed discharge valve for an extended period, and keep the air supply filtered and regulated to protect the air valve.
