Yamada 706063 Pump Base for NDP-50 and NDP-80
The Yamada 706063 is a factory pump base used in NDP-50 and NDP-80 Series pumps. A diaphragm pump shakes as it runs, and the mounting parts take that vibration continuously.
Rubber feet are cheap and do a real job. They isolate the pump from the structure, cut transmitted noise, and stop the fasteners from working loose through vibration. Hardened, split or missing feet are worth replacing as a set.

Q: Does the base need to match the wet end material?
It should match the model and the build. Yamada supplies bases to suit metal and plastic wet ends separately because the fixings and loads differ.
Q: Can I bolt the pump straight to the deck without feet?
It is not advisable. The vibration goes straight into the structure and back into the pump connections, and the noise inside an enclosed space is considerably worse.
Q: Do the feet really matter?
Yes. They isolate the pump from the structure, which cuts noise and stops the hold down fasteners working loose. A pump on hard mountings shakes its own pipework joints apart over time.
Q: My pump walks when it runs. What should I check?
The mounting feet and the hold down fasteners first. A pump that is not firmly located puts cyclic load into the manifold connections, which is where the leaks start.
