Yamada 683055 Air Shutoff Ball Valve for NDP-5 to NDP-20
The Yamada 683055 is the genuine air shutoff ball valve for NDP-5, DP-10, NDP-15 and NDP-20 Series pumps. It is the shutoff in the air supply to the pump - the quarter turn that isolates the air motor so the pump can be stopped, or worked on, without disturbing the rest of the air system.
What kills them is the same thing that kills everything downstream: moisture and debris in the air supply. A valve that has been sitting in a wet line will be stiff on the first turn and often will not seal on the way back.
