The Weinman 135671 is the genuine Weinman impeller kit for size 4Q, S frame on 375 and 575 Series back pull out pumps. The impeller is the only part that adds energy to the liquid - the driver spins it, the vanes throw water outward, and the casing turns that velocity into the pressure you read at the discharge.
A physical strike is the other common reason. Debris through the suction chips or bends a vane, the rotating assembly goes out of balance, and the shaft seal and bearings then carry a load they were never designed for. Once that has happened the impeller is not something to straighten and reuse.

Q: How do I know the impeller is what is costing me flow?
Rule out the easy causes first: a partly closed or blocked suction, air leaking into the suction line, and a driver turning the wrong way after rewiring. If those are clear and the pump still will not make its numbers, internal clearance is the usual answer.
Q: Can I fit a larger impeller to get more pressure?
Only within what the pump and driver were designed for. A bigger impeller draws more power, raises axial thrust on the bearings and can push the casing past its rating. Stay with what Weinman lists for your model.
