Tuthill P701-222-77 Brown Viton O-Ring Pump Sealing Part
The Tuthill P701-222-77 is a genuine Viton O-ring for Tuthill gear pump service positions. Fluoroelastomer O-rings are specified where nitrile will not survive the fluid or the temperature, and they hold their sealing force across a far wider band than a standard rubber ring. Because a used O-ring takes a permanent compression set, the one in the pump is never a reliable guide to the original size.
