The Tuthill 50218500 is a genuine housing bushing for Tuthill HD Series rotary lobe process pumps. The bushings support the shafts where they pass through the impeller housing, and they are the parts that decide whether the impellers stay concentric in their bores as the pump takes load. When a lobe pump has begun to rub, worn bushings are the first thing to rule in or out.
