Tuthill 10154600 Square Key for HD Series Rotary Lobe Pumps
The Tuthill 10154600 is a genuine square key for Tuthill HD Series rotary lobe process pumps. A key is the only thing carrying torque between a shaft and whatever is mounted on it, and in a rotary lobe pump that torque has to stay exactly in phase. It is one of the cheapest parts in the pump and one of the few where a sloppy fit has immediate mechanical consequences.

Then the shaft or the hub needs attention. Fitting a new key into a spread keyway will not hold, and the damage will get worse quickly.
