This repair kit contains the stator, motor pin, rotor pin, flexible joint and shaft seal in NBR nitrile, supplied for the Moyno 500 Model 36751 and 367 mechanical seal builds. The same kit serves two purposes. It is the standard overhaul package for a worn pump, and it is the route to converting a pump from one elastomer to another when the liquid being handled has changed.
A conversion kit is also the usual way to move a pump onto a different liquid. Elastomer compatibility rather than mechanical wear is what limits many installations, and changing the soft parts is far cheaper than changing the pump. NBR nitrile covers an approximate range of 10 to 160 F in service. Check the rotor condition while the pump is open, because a rotor with worn plating will abrade the new stator quickly and is not included in a kit of this type. Because the 367 drive train is pinned at both ends, this kit includes both pins, which the smaller 331 to 344 kits do not.
