The Proven Pump 360-115V is a self priming utility transfer pump that runs on ordinary 115V AC and moves up to 360 GPH. It is the pump you pick up and carry to the job rather than install: a plated brass head, a flexible rubber impeller, a stainless handle, and a 3/4 in male garden hose thread on both the inlet and the outlet, with a 3/8 in FNPT inside each one if you would rather run pipe.

Self priming is what makes it useful. The flexible impeller will pull liquid up from about 7 ft below the pump with nothing in the line to start with, and push it up to around 48 ft at shut off, so it will empty a bilge, a water heater, a tank or a flooded locker without being submerged or having to be primed by hand. The motor is thermally protected and rated for intermittent duty, which in practice means roughly 15 minutes running and 45 minutes off. The one rule that matters more than any other is never to run it dry, because the liquid is what lubricates the impeller vanes.
