Pulsafeeder X015-XA-BBA-9XXX Chem-Tech Series 100 Pump
The Pulsafeeder X015-XA-BBA-9XXX is a Chem-Tech Series 100 motor driven diaphragm metering pump rated at 15 gallons per day (2.34 LPH) against up to 100 PSI, powered from 115 VAC, 60 Hz. This model carries the degassing head: a PVC head with a top mounted, one way vent valve that continuously evacuates gas bubbles from the pump chamber, which is exactly what keeps a pump feeding sodium hypochlorite and other off gassing chemicals from vapor locking.
The Series 100 uses a guided quad check valve system with FKM fluoroelastomer seats and O-rings and ceramic balls, a sealless diaphragm and a sealed gear train, and output is set with an adjustable feed rate control with a 10:1 turndown. It is self priming and simple to install, and it is widely used for chlorination in well water, water conditioning and small system disinfection. Suction and vent return connections are 0.44 in, with a 0.50 in discharge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where does the degas vent line go?
Back to the top of the chemical supply tank. It carries gas and a small amount of chemical during normal running, so it must never be routed to a drain.
Q: Can it pump thick chemicals?
The Series 100 is designed for thin, water like chemicals up to about 20 cP. Viscous products need a different pump.
Q: Why choose the degas model?
Hypochlorite gives off gas that collects in an ordinary head and stops the pump. The vent valve bleeds that gas continuously so the pump keeps feeding without attention.
Q: Can it be used above the tank?
Yes, it is self priming, but a short suction lift and a foot valve with strainer give the most reliable priming.
