Pulsafeeder L1501200-TFE PTFE Bleed Valve O-Ring
The Pulsafeeder L1501200-TFE is the genuine PTFE bleed valve O-ring used across the Pulsatron solenoid metering pump range. It seals the bleed valve against the pump head so that air and gas can be vented during priming and the valve closes off completely once the pump is running. Because it is PTFE, it is compatible with virtually every chemical a Pulsatron pumps, so the same O-ring serves every wet end material.
The same PTFE O-ring is also used as the gasket O-ring in the Pulsatron five function valve, and one is included in every Pulsatron KOPkit. A tired bleed valve O-ring shows up as a weep at the bleed valve, or as chemical continuing to trickle back to the tank when the valve is closed, which quietly takes away output. It is an inexpensive part that is worth replacing any time the bleed valve or head is disturbed.

Q: Can PTFE O-rings be reused?
Not reliably. PTFE takes a set once it has been compressed and does not spring back like rubber, so fit a new one whenever the valve has been apart.

Q: How do I fit it without damage?
