The Onan 3349340 Sea Water Pump is the complete raw water pump, supplied ready to bolt on rather than as a set of service parts. It draws sea water through the strainer, pushes it through the heat exchanger and out with the exhaust, and it is the only thing standing between the set and an overheat shutdown.
Replace the whole pump rather than rebuilding it when the housing bore is scored or pitted through, when the shaft has been running with a leaking seal for a long time, or when the mounting flange or cover faces have corroded. A rebuild only works if the castings are still sound.
