Oberdorfer 31 Mounting Base – Rubber Replacement Part
Pedestal mounted pumps depend on the mounting for alignment as well as support. The Oberdorfer 31 in rubber is the factory part for that duty.

Q: Should all the mounts be renewed together?
Yes. One new mount alongside three compressed ones puts the pump out of level and loads the coupling unevenly.
Q: How tight should mounting fasteners be?
Firm enough that nothing moves, but not so tight that rubber isolators are crushed solid, which defeats the point of fitting them.
Q: Does remounting affect alignment?
On a coupled installation, always. Recheck alignment once everything is bolted down.
Q: What causes mounting hardware to fail early?
Vibration from a pump that is already out of balance or out of alignment, and salt water sitting where it cannot drain.
