This is the genuine Oberdorfer 300B. Across the centrifugal range Oberdorfer quotes self-priming designs in which the impeller is not in contact with other pump parts, giving quiet running and a tolerance for contaminated liquid that positive displacement pumps do not share.
Mechanical seal grade sets the temperature ceiling. Standard nitrile seals suit duty up to around 212 degrees F, while fluoroelastomer and Chemlon options extend that considerably where the application needs it.
