The Jabsco 29295-1010 is a genuine Jabsco in-line non-return (check) valve for 1-1/2 in ID hose. Installed in a bilge pump line, it lets water flow in one direction only and stops water in the hose from running back into the bilge.
On manual and electric bilge systems a non-return valve helps the pump keep its prime and stops the discharge hose from draining back, so each stroke or pump cycle moves more water. It installs directly in the hose run.
