The Jabsco 29290-1000 is a genuine Jabsco mountable bilge strainer for 1 in ID hose. It fits on the end of the bilge pump suction hose and screens out debris before it can reach the pump.

Debris is the number one cause of jammed valves and damaged impellers in bilge pumps. A strainer on the pickup keeps the pump working when it matters, and it can be mounted in the lowest part of the bilge so the hose end stays where the water collects.
