The Jabsco 2472-0010 is a genuine Jabsco clutch pulley for Jabsco 6590 series manual clutch flexible impeller pumps. The 6 inch pulley takes a B-section belt from the engine, and together with the clutch it lets the pump be engaged or released while the engine runs. At 1750 RPM these pumps deliver around 62 GPM at 10 feet of head.
A worn belt groove or damaged clutch face causes belt slip, lost pump speed and poor engagement. Replacing the pulley restores full belt grip and correct clutch contact so the pump delivers its rated flow for deck wash, bilge, fish hold and transfer duty.
