Jabsco 18930-0000 Bronze Engine Cooling Pump, 1-1/4 in Hose, Pulley Mount
The Jabsco 18930-0000 is a bronze flexible impeller engine cooling pump with a neoprene impeller, a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and 1-1/4 in ID hose ports. It is supplied as a bare shaft pump with a pulley mounting adaptor. It delivers about 15 GPM at 1500 RPM, self-primes from about 7.8 ft dry and lifts up to 22 ft when wet, for liquids between 45 and 180 F.
This pump is set up for a belt drive, with the pulley adaptor supplied and the pulley ordered to suit the drive. Make sure all suction connections are airtight so it can self-prime, keep a spare impeller kit aboard, and never run it dry, since the impeller and seal rely on water for lubrication. Pumping water colder than 45 F makes the impeller stiff and shortens its life.
