The Jabsco 18914-6340 is a genuine Jabsco complete diaphragm pump head, less motor, supplied with a 40 PSI pressure switch. It replaces the whole wet end of the pump in one step. It is listed for Jabsco 31670 series diaphragm pumps and the 59451 series.
Diaphragm water pumps rely on the valves, diaphragm and housings sealing well to build and hold pressure. Worn valves or a torn diaphragm show up as a pump that cycles, will not hold pressure, loses flow or will not prime.
