Jabsco 18810-0000 Accumulator Tank, 2 Gallon
The Jabsco 18810-0000 is the Jabsco 2 gallon pressurized accumulator tank for freshwater pressure systems. It holds a cushion of air and water that smooths the flow from faucets and showers, reduces pump cycling and helps prevent pulsation and water hammer.
Install the accumulator on the outlet side of the pump, close to the pump, and set the air precharge to suit the pump cut-in pressure as described in the installation instructions. Because the water is kept away from the metal tank by the bladder and liner, it will not taint the water or corrode the tank from inside. Check the precharge each season.
