Jabsco 18736-0000 115V AC Motor
The Jabsco 18736-0000 is the genuine replacement 115V AC open drip proof (ODP) motor for the Jabsco 6050-0003 bronze self-priming utility pump. It is the complete motor assembly the pump head bolts onto, so when the motor is what has failed you can renew it and keep the bronze pump end you already own rather than buying an entire new pump.
The 6050-0003 is a workhorse: a bronze-bodied, flexible impeller, self-priming pump rated around 23 GPM, with 1" NPT ports and a 3/4 HP 1725 RPM single-phase motor. That combination of self-priming ability and bronze construction is why these pumps end up doing dewatering, bilge pump-out, water transfer, washdown and general utility duty on boats and in workshops for decades. Very often the pump end long outlives its first motor.
Open drip proof means the motor housing is vented for cooling and protected against liquid falling on it vertically — good for a sheltered, well-ventilated installation, but not a motor to mount somewhere it will be hosed down or sit in spray. If your installation is wet or dusty, the totally enclosed fan cooled version of the pump (6050-0013) uses a different motor, so check which one you have before ordering.
Before ordering, confirm your pump is the 6050-0003 with the ODP motor. Jabsco uses different motors across its utility pump lineup and they are not interchangeable.
