Jabsco 18690-0000 115V AC Macerator Pump
The Jabsco 18690-0000 is the Jabsco 115 volt AC heavy duty macerator pump, a self-priming flexible impeller macerator with a nitrile impeller, lip seal, stainless steel wearplates and a stainless steel cutter plate that reduces solids to 1/8 in maximum. Ports are 1-1/2 in NPT male or 1-1/2 in hose barb inlet and 1 in hose barb outlet, and it suits marine, RV and domestic waste handling where AC power is available.
Macerator pumps grind waste into a fine slurry and pump it from a holding tank to a deck fitting or overboard where permitted. Keep the chopper, wearplates and impeller in good condition, since worn parts reduce flow and let solids jam the pump. Never run a flexible impeller macerator dry, and flush it with fresh water after emptying the tank.
