The Jabsco 18620-0003 is the Jabsco reversible 12 volt pump, a bronze flexible impeller pump with a nitrile impeller, lip seal and 3/4 in garden hose ports, driven by a reversible permanent magnet motor with an integral reversing switch and fuse. It draws about 7 A on a 10 A fuse, delivers about 1.8 GPM at 5 ft of head, and will lift about 3 to 4 ft dry and about 10 ft when primed. The reversing switch lets the same pump fill and empty.

These bronze flexible impeller pumps self-prime, handle small debris and can be mounted in any position, which is why they are used for bilge, washdown, livewell and transfer duty. Keep suction lines airtight so the pump can prime, drain it before freezing weather, and never let it run dry because the impeller depends on the liquid for lubrication.
