Jabsco 18598-1000 Macerator Service Kit
The Jabsco 18598-1000 is the genuine service kit for Jabsco 18690-0000 and 18690-0010 AC macerator pumps, with gaskets, a stud and the other parts needed for a routine rebuild of the pump end.
Macerator pumps grind waste into a fine slurry and pump it from a holding tank to a deck fitting or overboard where permitted. Keep the chopper, wearplates and impeller in good condition, since worn parts reduce flow and let solids jam the pump. Never run a flexible impeller macerator dry, and flush it with fresh water after emptying the tank.
