Jabsco 17999-0000 Flange Bushing Bearing
The Jabsco 17999-0000 is the genuine flange bushing bearing for the Jabsco 18000-0000 epoxy plastic gear pump, where it supports the drive end of the shaft. It is used on the 18000-0000 only, not on the pressure relief or 18250 models.
Jabsco 18000 and 18250 series gear pumps have glass filled epoxy bodies and gears, 316 stainless steel wearplates and shafts and carbon sleeve bearings, and they are used to transfer caustics, acids, detergents, inks and other liquids up to about 100 PSI. Worn internal parts show up as lower pressure and flow, so inspect the gears, wearplates, bearings and thrust plates together at every overhaul and never run the pump dry.
