Jabsco 12590-0001 Replacement Pump Head, Neoprene Impeller
The Jabsco 12590-0001 is a complete replacement pump head, supplied without a motor, for the Jabsco 12560-0001 12 volt flexible impeller pump. It is the whole pump end in one assembly, in plastic with a neoprene flexible impeller, ready to mount on the existing motor.
Replacing the complete head is the quickest repair when the body is worn, cracked from freezing or damaged by dry running, or when several internal parts are worn at once. It gets the pump back in service without chasing individual parts. Neoprene is the general purpose compound for water, raw water cooling and mildly abrasive liquids. Lubricate the motor shaft lightly before sliding the new head on, and check that the suction connections are airtight on restart.
