Jabsco 11860-0006 Electro-Magnetic Clutch Pump, 24V
The Jabsco 11860-0006 is a bronze electro-magnetic clutch pump with a 24 VDC clutch and a 2-A pulley with two A-section belt grooves. The pump is driven by a belt from the engine, and the clutch lets it be switched on and off remotely from the helm or a control panel, so the pump only turns when water is needed. The pump end is bronze with a nitrile flexible impeller and a carbon/ceramic mechanical shaft seal, with 1 in NPT ports.
Clutch pumps are the standard choice for engine driven washdown, fire, bilge and bait well service on work boats and sportfishing boats, because they deliver high flow without a large electric motor and without running the pump all the time.
