Finish Thompson M5V M5V Splashproof Drum Pump Motor 230 V
The M5V is a Finish Thompson M Series drum and container pump, built in the motor enclosure. It is the drive unit that mounts on top of a Finish Thompson drum pump tube. The M5V is the splashproof build of the 230 volt single phase drum pump motor, for work where the motor will see spray or wash down.
It exists so that product comes out of the container under control rather than over the lip of it. Motor and tube are a matched system, so the coupling, the mounting and the power rating all have to correspond, and a motor chosen on power alone will not necessarily fit the tube you have.
