Finish Thompson AC5STS3V478B015C AC5 Stainless Centrifugal Pump
This is the Finish Thompson AC5 close coupled centrifugal pump, constructed in 316 stainless steel. It is supplied close coupled to its motor and ready to pipe in. The wetted parts are 316 stainless steel with 2 inch by 1-1/2 inch connections, and the shaft is sealed by a mechanical seal running carbon against ceramic with Viton FKM elastomers.
Specified correctly it is a long lived pump, and most of what shortens its life comes down to how it is run rather than how it is built. Keep the suction flooded and clear, avoid starting against a dead head, and never let the pump run dry, because the mechanical seal is the part that pays for all three.
