Flojet 20381-000 Quad Port Kit, 1/2" Quest, Pair
The Flojet 20381-000 is the genuine pair of Quad-Port snap-in fittings with 1/2" Quest connections, supplied with EPDM O-rings. The pair covers both the inlet and the outlet of the pump.
The Quad-Port system is one of the more sensible pieces of design on these pumps. Each fitting pushes into the pump housing, an O-ring makes the seal and a clip locks it in place — no threads, no sealant, no torque to judge, and nothing that can be cross-threaded in a badly lit locker. It also means the connection type can be changed later without touching the pump: swap the fittings and the same pump serves a hose system, a threaded system or a tubing system.
The EPDM O-rings suit water, drinking water and mild chemistries, and resist ozone and weathering well. Supplying the fittings as a pair matters more than it sounds — the inlet and outlet see the same water and age at the same rate, so renewing one and leaving the other simply schedules a second job. Push each fitting fully home, check the O-ring is undamaged and seated, and make sure both clips are properly engaged before pressurising.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why are the ports sold in pairs?
Because inlet and outlet age together. Replacing only one leaves the other at the same point in its life, which usually means a second job shortly afterwards.
Q: What if the clip is missing but the O-ring seals?
Fit a clip before pressurising. The O-ring seals but does not retain, and a port that pushes out under pressure releases the full contents of the line.
Q: Can I use a smear of grease on the O-ring?
A little silicone grease compatible with potable water helps the fitting push home without rolling the O-ring. Avoid petroleum-based grease, which attacks EPDM.
Q: Will these fit any Flojet pump?
They fit pumps built with the Quad-Port snap-in housing. A pump with threaded ports needs threaded fittings instead, so check the pump before ordering.
