Flojet 01825006C Adapter, 1/2" Slip Stem x 3/4" Male Garden Hose
The Flojet 01825006C is a genuine adapter joining a 1/2" slip stem to a 3/4" male garden hose thread. It takes a quick-connect tubing system out to the universal garden hose connection, which is the one fitting standard almost every dock, yard and shore supply already has.

Q: Why does a garden hose joint not need sealant?
Because it does not seal on the threads. The threads only pull the two faces together; the seal is made by a rubber washer sitting in the female coupling, and sealant on the threads achieves nothing.
Q: My hose connection drips. What should I check first?
The washer, every time. They flatten with age, take a permanent set if left connected under pressure for months, and perish in sunlight. A new washer costs almost nothing and fixes most of these leaks.
