The AMT MSV3-5-1P is a non-self-priming/gravity feed, industrial pump with high pressure and low output.  This unit is more commonly referred to as a jockey pump and is often installed for water transfer uses where no suction lift is required such as boiler feed, condensate return, high pressure washdown, irrigation, booster service, and fire protection/sprinkler systems.  These pumps have NOT been investigated for use in drinking water systems.
