AMT 4S13X PPO 4" Aluminium Trash Pump, Pump Only

The AMT 4S13X PPO is the pump-only version of AMT’s 4" IPT self-priming trash pump — the complete wet end supplied without an engine, on a 5/8" threaded shaft, in die-cast aluminium with a Viton and silicon carbide mechanical seal. It is the option to choose when you already have a suitable engine or power source, or when you are building the pump into a rig of your own.

The 4S13X is built for the job most pumps are not: water with debris in it. The 4S13X series handles solids up to 2", flows to 530 GPM and heads to 112 feet, and self-primes on a lift of up to 26 feet. The construction is the clever part — a cast aluminium body to keep the weight down where it is carried, with cast iron wear components inside where the abrasion actually happens, so you get a pump that one person can move and that still resists being sandblasted from the inside. Both the 4" suction and discharge ports are removable male NPT, and the discharge rotates in 90-degree increments so the plumbing can go where it suits the site.

The seal specification is worth noting: silicon carbide faces with Viton elastomers. Silicon carbide is harder than the grit that gets between seal faces in trash service and sheds heat far better than ceramic, which is exactly what a pump that routinely runs on dirty water needs.
