Mini Battery Selector Switch The 701S is the most compact selector switch available on the market. While BEP recommends isolated battery systems as outlined with our distribution clusters, the 701S provides a simple economical way of separating two batteries. BEP Marine Battery Switch Test Procedures (UL 1107) Continuous (1 hour), intermittent (5 minutes) and Cranking (engine starting - 10 seconds). The test is to determine the maximum current the switch can handle for the stated time, without the rear terminals exceeding 100 deg C (212 deg F) above the ambient temperature. The continuous and intermittent ratings are tested at 110% of specified ratings. All BEP switches are tested Independently to this specification by a 3rd party laboratory. Easy Fit Battery Switch - 275A Continuous The Easyfit Battery Switch was created for installations where switches need to be recessed through varying thicknesses of panels. It achieves this through an easily removable threaded ring that allows for panel thicknesses up to 3/4" (19 mm). This switch uses the same features as the 701 with the removable key 45 degree past the off position, labeled handle and a removable back cover covering exposed terminals to meet ABYC specifications. It can also be surface mounted offering a unique style compared to other switches available on the market. Mini Contour Battery Disconnect Switch - 275A Continuous This switch offers a number of unique features, the highlight being the Contour Locking System, allowing it to be a stand alone unit, or locked together with other switches. The control knob can be removed by switching to an counterclockwise 45 degree position. This control knob also features an interchangeable labeling system allowing a full range of applications (Item # 713 or 715). Three removable side plates provide access of up to 1/0 cables. The rear cover insulating the rear terminals against any short circuits. This ensures that the switch meets ABYC requirements. Contour Matrix Gas Detector with Control The Contour Matrix Gas Detectors are the product of continuing research and development which BEP Marine Ltd devotes to their product range. The BEP Detectors use microprocessor control to ensure correct sensor sensitivity. The Detectors have the capability to control two sensors that detect both LPG and Petrol, with visual and audible alarms. There is a test switch to check the operation of sensors with indicators for fault detection. 600-GDL Gas Detector has the same features as the 600-GD, with the additional ability to switch a valve on and off. The 600-GDL has a "pulse and hold" feature which allows the solenoid valve to be opened, using full power, and then reducing power to hold the valve in the open position. This reduces power consumption and heat generated whilst the valve is in the on position.
