• All the FR electric pumps provide fuel until the fuel demand decreases, or flow is restricted - but they have different mechanisms for doing so.
FR pumps will cycle (pump) until they build up the pressure (head) in the outflow line - with an accompanying decrease in fuel flow - and reach their factory preset maximum pressure.
At this point, constant frequency pumps like the FRA will continue cycling - but no fuel will flow.
Variable frequency pumps, like the FRB and FRD, will slow and eventually stop cycling as the pressure builds.
If the pressure on the outflow side of the pump drops, both types of pump will start supplying fuel again.

Applications for the CP2012V include liquid intake, grey water discharges, bilges, showers, diesel and oil, galleys, as well as in pumping seawater and fresh water. This pump is not suitable for viscous liquids or pumping abrasive liquids. Install the pump in a dry and well ventilated location.
The pump must be placed on a solid surface in the horizontal position, feet down. To reduce vibration block the machine with the bolts to the surface and install some vibration dumpers. These pump usually do not need any maintenance so long as the following precautions are taken. If there is a risk of freezing, it is necessary to empty the pump casing then fill the pump up before running it again. Make sure the pump never runs dry.
