HSC100 High Performance Fluxgate Sensor
Accurate compass heading data remains a fundamental parameter for marine navigation and the HSC100 uses fluxgate technology to deliver heading data for on board systems. Typical applications include enabling course up and true motion type displays on chart plotters, radar overlay onto electronic charts and stabilisation of radars when used for MARPA/ARPA target tracking. Integrated instrument systems can also benefit from having compass information to calculate real time tidal set and drift when interfaced with a log and GPS.
Features:
High speed (10Hz) NMEA electronic fluxgate compass sensor
Ideal for use with radar overlay and MARPA target tracking systems
Industry standard NMEA 0183 HDG output
Gimbaled to 45 degrees
12/24V DC operation with minimal power consumption
Waterproof to IPx7 and suitable for external mounting on steel hulled vessels
Automatic calibration routine and manual compass offset feature
Additional AD10 heading output for interface with Furuno systems
LED status indicator
15m interconnect cable
Most low cost heading sensors only output data at 1Hz (once per second) but the HSC100 outputs at 10Hz which is required for MARPA target tracking and accurate radar overlays.
The HSC100 is waterproof so it can be mounted externally on steel hulled vessels. It also features an automatic calibration routine to compensate for the effects of nearby magnetic influences. This involves turning the boat through 1.5 circles at a constant angular velocity whilst in calibration mode. Once completed, typical accuracies are within 0.5 degrees

The Clipper Compass is a fully electronic compass with remote fluxgate sensor. The large clear display has 7 levels of illumination and gives True or magnetic heading. The sensor which is gimballed for plus/minus 45 degrees of pitch and roll, is mounted in a position where stray magnetic fields are at a minimum. An electronic auto calibration then cancels out small errors.
Steer to Course Function - When the steering function is selected a series of chevrons accumulate showing the magnitude and direction of the steering error. To stay on course simply turn the wheel in the direction of the chevrons until they are extinguished. The steering sensitivity can be preset by the user. An off course alarm provides a safety feature when not at the helm. If the heading deviates by more than a preset amount then the alarm will sound.

GPS160F with Furuno Format Data Output
The GPS160 series of sensors is a high-performance GPS designed for use with chart plotters
Digital Yacht has introduced a specific version of the GPS160 which is a simple replacement for older Furuno plotter and GPS systems. Devices like the Furuno GP32, Navnet, and GPS310/320 utilize a specific format for GPS data and this sensor emulates that for easy compatibility. Some of these older GPS sensors have suffered from technical issues with the GPS system rollover changes which can render chart plotter systems useless. The GPS160F provides an economical and reliable solution to these problems.
In conjunction with Furuno UK, Digital Yacht has developed a special version of their popular GPS160 Smart GNSS Sensor “TriNav” that outputs the older NMEA 0183 sentences and data format that the legacy Furuno systems can read. Now if a Furuno customer has a problem with their existing Furuno GPS (GP310/GP320/GP32/etc.) they can use the GPS160F as a simple “drop-in” replacement for their failed positioning sensor.
The GPS160F has been tested with a wide variety of legacy Furuno products including; the original NavNet MFDs, NavNet VX2, M1735 Radar, GP7000, and the FCV family of sounders.
Supplied with a 10m cable and user manual with dedicated Furuno interfacing information, the GPS160F will work straight out of the box and just requires a simple 4-wire connection to the existing Furuno system.
Features:
GPS160 for legacy Furuno systems
Refined anti-spoofing algorithm for robust performance of position and interference rejection
Many formats of NMEA data output including datum information –users can configure through internal DIP switches
Ultra low (<20mA) power consumption at 12V DC

You can access the iSeaSense dashboard through its own web interface, just open your web browser, enter the iSeaSense’s IP address or iSeaSense.local and you will access the attractive dash to display all your instrument's data. So no complicated programming software or app is required.
By default, iSeaSense has a series of pre-defined pages that display digital databoxes and analog “instruments” of the instrument and navigation data available on the NMEA 2000 network.
With iSeaSense you’re in control of the data you see. The pages are fully editable, so any databox can be configured for the information you want and you can easily add and remove databox to build your perfect display. The configuration can also be saved and shared – ideal for standard configurations for production boats and OEMs.
