Updated Features:
C-MAP® Easy Routing and Navionics® Autorouting support
Easy-to-interpret C-MAP Navigation Palette
C-MAP® Easy Routing and Navionics® Dock-to-Dock Autorouting: You will navigate faster and easier with automatic route planning. Menu activated, the feature automatically plots the shortest and safest course based on a boat’s draft, beam and height, creating a route around a landmass and other fixed navigational hazards. Requires C-MAP MAX-N+ charts, Navionics+ or Navionics Platinum charts.
C-MAP Navigation Palette: Enhances the readability of C-MAP charts, especially near shore, making it easy to tell where the boat is in relation to a channel, navaid, ledges and drop-offs, or a point of land

PED4408 PedestalPod Pre-Cut for Simrad GO7/B&G Vulcan 7 - Carbon Black
PedestalPods are better than bracket mounting. Very sturdy and secure, yet clean and attractive, this mount provides protection of your fishfinder/chartplotter from the harshest of wet boating conditions. PedestalPods provide the convenience of easily reaching and controlling the fishfinder/chartplotter while providing added security with protection from theft.
PedestalPods position your fishfinder/chartplotter at 20" off the deck and located near the bow and at the 45° angle for ease of viewing while fishing. This allows the user to easily reach and access the fishfinder/chartplotter for changes to range, zoom or even control the trolling motor.
PedestalPods are manufactured with a double gasket system that provides an excellent watertight seal keeping spray off the electrical connections on the back of your fishfinder/chartplotter assuring reliability and longevity of your marine electronics.
Your fishfinder/chartplotter is easily flush mounted into the pre-cut face of the NavPod. The heavy duty, powder coated aluminum pedestal tube is 3” in diameter with a 5” round base and has a large 1.75” opening providing plenty of room for running wires and connectors internally for a very clean look and provides protection for wires and electrical connectors from water intrusion, UV exposure or damage from just getting kicked or snagged and ripped out of their sockets.
NavPods come with a security wrench and nickel chrome-plated stainless steel tamperproof screws for protection from theft.
There are pre-cut models available for 7", 9" and 12" LCD displays from all major marine electronic manufacturers.

PP4408 PowerPod Pre-Cut f/Simrad GO7 and B&G Vulcan 7
PP4400 Series, PowerPods for Power are a better option than bracket mounting. PowerPods provide a clean look for flush mounting with the advantage of a swivel base.
The trunion bracket that is supplied with most electronics is not optimal. PowerPods have the advantage of protecting the back of the electronics from harsh saltwater spray. Most manufacturers do an excellent job of protecting the face of the display from water intrusion with sealed rubber push buttons. The back is generally not waterproof. They are expecting you to flush mount it into the console or a NavPod. The PowerPod also protects the plastic connectors and wires from deterioration caused by long term exposure to UV.
PowerPods for Sail are for mounting on a flat surface. Perhaps under the dodger or aft end of the cockpit table especially on boats with dual wheels.
All PowerPods Include
Acrylic capped ABS plastic
Chromed stainless steel tamper-poof fasteners
Double seal for watertight integrity
Models are available pre-cut for popular electronics
Swivel Base with large pass-through for wire harness

RMX4408 RailMount Pre-Cut for Simrad GO7/B&G Vulcan 7
The RailMount NavPods are best used for mounting of an autopilot control, sailing instrument, or small chartplotter onto an existing pedestal guard. Fits onto any 1" or 1.25" diameter tube. A Chromed Stainless Steel arm is used to mount a NavPod. The NavPod can rotate 180 degrees for easy viewing while sitting under the dodger on a rainy day. All wire run from the NavPod, down the center of the stainless steel arm, and into the pedestal guard. This application provides a clean and sturdy installation for electronics, without replacement of the pedestal guard.
All RailMount NavPods Include:
Acrylic capped ABS plastic
Chromed stainless steel tamper-proof fasteners
Double Seal for watertight integrity
Models are available pre-cut for popular electronics.
Chromed stainless steel arm with swivel mount
Two sets of adaptors included for 1" or 1.25" diameter tubing
The Hi-Gloss Material
NavPods are manufactured with a custom co-extruded acrylic capped ABS material. We use the absolute best UV resistant material that provides a very high gloss white finish that matches gel-coated fiberglass. The Gen3 enhancements now include a thicker gauge material that improves strength and 1provides for better structural rigidity.
The Waterproof Seal
All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system providing an excellent watertight seal between the front and back of the NavPod for protection of your Marine Electronics. NavPods are made to withstand the harshest of wet offshore boating conditions. Gen3 enhancements include a thicker external silicone gasket with improved flush fit. The internal EPDM gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to "compression set" like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future to service your electronics.
The Nickel Chrome Plated Screws
We use all stainless steel mounting hardware that is supplied with each NavPod. Large round head tamperproof screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding ability when tightening than the previous screws. For Gen3 we provide nickel chrome-plated stainless steel tamperproof screws for security combined with a little bling!
The Manufacturing Process
Heavy-gauge thermoforming is considered an art since many processes come into play. It all starts with the design and development of the tooling. We are fortunate to have experienced in-house design engineers who utilize CAD programs like Solidworks, Catia and AutoCad. Surfcam is used to interface with our CNC machining centers to produce quality tools with precision tolerances. We have re-designed and re-tooled all of the popular NavPods. We have reviewed all of the former products and selected the best design elements of each and incorporated them in every new Gen3 product.
Our Commitment to Quality
We are committed to producing the best possible waterproof housing for Marine Electronics. Now with two decades of experience under our belt, we are confident you will have years of trouble free service and a long lasting high gloss finish. We will stand behind our commitment by now offering a 10-year warranty on all new Gen3 NavPods.

Our Commitment to Quality
We are committed to producing the best possible waterproof housing for Marine Electronics. Now with two decades of experience under our belt, we are confident you will have years of trouble free service and a long lasting high gloss finish. We will stand behind our commitment by now offering a 10-year warranty on the Gen3 NavPods.
