This transducer is for older monochrome units only. Thru-hull only.
In the SE-200 and Color Sonar units Speed and Temp is obtained via the NMEA in puts. Speed is obtained most commonly via a chart plotter and temperature through a SMART transducer. AIRMAR Technologies makes a few different SMART TEMPREATURE sensors.
Placement of the transducer is always important to the functions of any sounder/sonar equipment. Interphase provides special adjustments within the software controls of each unit, making leveling adjustments possible. This is impossible in most other fish finders and depth sounders.
All transducers come with approximately 30 feet of cable. The new, Interphase Full Line Brochure includes complete transducer information and even suggestions for hull placement.
