The mount will accommodate rails up to 1" in diameter. The hole pattern found on the diamond base adapter will connect to most RAM cradles. Installation Instructions: To mount to a circular rail, simple press the plastic "U" clamp around the rail and then connect and tighten the small nut and bolt to close the U clamp. Next connect the diamond plate to the mounted clamp at the required angle and screw in the other bolt through the diamond plate. Now you are ready to connect any of the RAM composite or any other cradle with two holes positioned 1.912" center to center. Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1" will help the base grab the rail. Power-Grip™ XL Universal Scanner Gun Holder The RAM® Power-Grip™ XL universal scanner gun holder is designed for use with several large form factor scanner guns and is RAM® Mounts Compatible™ with a full range of ball and socket forklift mounting systems. Using high-strength composite materials, the RAM® Power-Grip™ XL secures scanner guns even when not in use. When required, easily remove the scanner gun to quickly scan the desired item. This is an indispensable tool, especially important in Giant Blue Fin Tuna fishing, where reel drags in the neighborhood of 60 pounds are frequently used and can result in tremendous forces being applied to the rod holder pin. Not only does this make sheared rod holder pins a thing of the past but, more importantly, it allows the tip of the rod to follow the fish.
