ACU-150 Actuator Control Unit
The Raymarine ACU-150 is a component of the Evolution™ Autopilot system and is designed to provide power and control to a Raymarine Type-1 Hydraulic Drive Unit (M81120.)
The ACU-150 connects to the SeaTalkng network for communication with its other peripherals. It also has connections for an optional Rudder Reference Unit (sold separately.) The ACU-150 works on 12-volt DC systems only.
To make a complete ACU-150 autopilot system you must also add the Type-1 Hydraulic Drive Unit (M81120), Evolution EV1 Sensor Core (E70096), Evolution Cable Kit (R70160) and either the p70s (E70328) or p70Rs (E70329) autopilot control head.

Steering signals from the pilot are now fed to the D.C. motor, which drives the pump to move the cylinder back and forth. De-energized, the solenoid valve immediately disconnects the automatic pilot from the rudder. The actuator has a small translucent oil reservoir, making it easy to check fluid levels. These actuators have only five moving parts. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 6 gallons per minute at 2.5 feet, and its maximum head is 15.5 Feet (or around 6.5PSI). The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the solution) is composed of Bronze, Stainless Steel, Teflon, Silicone and Ryton/Teflon/Glass.
