Marine Navigation & Instruments, Supplies and Equipment
With a wide variety of Marine Navigation equipment and Instruments, we can help you find your location on the waterways, avoid hazards, and be respectful of other boaters. The accessories you have on your boat are important, but very few of them are as valuable as the AIS systems, autopilots, black box modules, and other options you can choose from when you want to make sure you can find your way there and back again while staying away from areas that could mean running aground or experiencing other dangers. We offer many types of navigation equipment, including cameras - network video, ice flashers, and marine monitors.
Depending on where you are going to be boating and what you plan to do with your time on the water, you can also find a fishfinder/sounder - color or a fishfinder/sounder - mono that will be right for you, along with GPS - chartplotters, GPS - fishfinder combos, or a GPS - track plotter. Network accessories and network capable displays are available, and we have a selection of night vision, software, transducers and transducer accessories, and weather fax equipment. If you need radar - stand alone options or radar domes / arrays, look no further than right here, where the selection is good and so are the prices.

Complete Spreader Kit for Radar or Satdome Applications
This three piece kit consists of a mid section and two spreaders. Four bolts are used to secure each spreader to the midsection. The spreaders are tapered and angled aft so that for what ever you decide to put on there it will not interfere with the radar or satdome that you have on your mount. All the wiring from your GPS unit or antenna can be routed internally through the spreaders and into the mount itself. Not only does this help with security but it also makes for a very nice and clean installation. All the parts that make up the spreader kit are bolted together with rubber gaskets in between each part to prevent any water intrusion.
Spreader Kit Configurations
Closed dome radar - When you are using a closed dome radar with a spreader kit you want to raise your GPS units above the closed dome radar to avoid interference.
Satdome - If you are using a satdome you don’t need to use these extension posts with GPS units. Satdome radio waves travel up to the sky to the satellites, while the GPS waves will travel horizontally. Therefore you do not want these raised above your satellite dome.
*Used with Seaview mounts in which the part number ends in "M2"

New Product Preview
Including 3D Multi-beam Sonar & Radars
For NavNet TZtouch & TZtouch2
The Miami Boat show marks the opening of an event that each year continues to set the tone for the recreational boating industry. Furuno would like to introduce the boating public to some exciting new products. We'd like to provide you with a preview of the upcoming products.
The star of this year's show for Furuno is certain to be the all-new DFF3D Multi-beam Sonar. We're proud to bring 3D underwater viewing and side-scanning capabilities to our flagship NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 MFDs, with this all-new DFF3D black box module. This Multi-beam Sonar takes the highly-desired ability to scan port to starboard under the vessel and ups the ante by displaying unique 3D Sounder History that presents a very intuitive three-dimensional image of the seafloor, along with icons depicting fish distribution. This mode is extremely useful for locking-in on fishing hot spots and assessing the seabed condition. Leveraging Furuno's unique commercial fisheries experience and technology, the DFF3D delivers a sidebar detection range of an unprecedented 650+ feet, while also seeing down to over 1,000 feet, possibly making it the only Sounder many fishermen will need!
The DFF3D is scheduled to begin shipping later this spring and will initially be paired with an all-new, motion stabilized multi-beam, thru-hull transducer. Additional transducer options, including a transom mount version, will be available later in the year. Please take a few moments to check out the videos below and accompanying DFF3D brochure that will introduce you to the many features, abilities and benefits of this revolutionary new fishing machine from Furuno!
Enhancing NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 sensor options doesn't stop with the DFF3D Multi-beam Sonar. Furuno's already extensive and award-winning DRS family of ultra-high definition Radar sensors is expanding. With the 2016 introduction of the DRS6AX X-Class Radar, Furuno raised the bar on performance for traditional X-Band recreational Radar. Now, we're moving that bar up a couple more notches with two new, high-power X-Class Radar options for NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2, the DRS12AX and DRS25AX. These two new Radars not only deliver incredibly high performance and useful features, but do so at an extremely competitive price. Scheduled to commence delivery this spring. As with other open array DRS Radars, these new models can be paired with a number of antenna options, ranging in size from 3.5 to 6 feet. Check out the below video on the newly expanded line of X-Class Radars, and download updated brochures for NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2, which now include product info for these new Radars and the DFF3D Multi-beam Sonar.
In addition to new Sonar and Radar options, NavNet TZtouch2 MFD's will soon provide extensive and valuable data to owners of Yamaha's most popular outboard engines. Furuno is one of the first manufacturers to integrate an MFD with Yamaha Engines, to display gauges and other important information. Furuno collaborated closely with Yamaha to create the interface, while designing the gauges to emulate Yamaha's familiar look and feel. NavNet TZtouch2 interfaces with Yamaha's Helm Master®, Command Link® and Command Link Plus® to bring engine data across the network. This marriage of helm navigation and engine data places all of this critical information at the operator's fingertips, making TZtouch2 a truly turnkey solution for many boats. While this integration will require the purchase of an inexpensive gateway module from Yamaha, the availability of this data on a TZtouch2 MFD will be a no-cost upgrade for customers, as it will be incorporated into an upcoming TZtouch2 software update, coming this spring. While there will be a formal introduction when the software update becomes available, you can get more detailed info on this exciting integration between TZtouch2 and Yamaha engines by reviewing the product brochure.
Yamaha Engine Gauges on TZTL15F MFD
The new product excitement is not only confined to NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2. Furuno is also pleased to be premiering our latest standalone Radar model, the all-new 1815 Color LCD Radar. The Furuno 1815 assembles some of the very best features of our latest commercial and network models, presenting them in a compact and durable standalone Radar package that includes a stylish, low-profile 4kW Radome antenna, packaged with an 8.4" color LCD display that is a cosmetic match to the extremely popular FCV588 Fish Finder.
The 1815 is designed for a wide variety of vessels, including pleasure craft, workboats and small fishing boats that require an easy-to-use, true color Radar, at an affordable price point. This compact Radar incorporates many of Furuno's latest Radar features, including Furuno's Fast Target Tracking (TT) function, which allows the user to manually or automatically track up to 10 targets. In addition to TT, the 1815 can also display up to 100 AIS targets, when interfaced with an AIS Receiver and applicable sensors. Another useful feature is Furuno's proprietary True Trail mode. With True Trails, moving objects will show a gradation trail of the target in their wake, making it possible to gauge the directional movement of targets at a glance. These features, combined with Furuno's unique True View mode, make reading the display easier and more intuitive, even for novice navigators. The full-featured 1815 Radar will be a very economical upgrade for boaters. For more specific details on the all-new 1815 compact, standalone Radar, be sure to check out the 1815 product brochure.
As you can see, Furuno is going to provide our mutual boating customers with a number of new product surprises. To see these products in action, we trust this New Product Preview will provide you with the latest and greatest info on these upcoming offerings. All Furuno products can be purchased at CLR Marine our Authorized Furuno Reseller.

All-New Solid State Open Array
DRS6A-NXT Radar
With Antenna Options Up To 6-Feet
Since its introduction, the multi award-winning DRS4DNXT Solid State Doppler Radar has been lauded in numerous industry publications and online articles, as well as quickly becoming a big hit among boaters seeking a dome Radar. We're very excited to announce the NXT family is now expanding to include open array options, ranging from 3.5' up to 6', with the all-new DRS6ANXT Solid State Doppler Radar!
The DRS6ANXT leverages the same pulse compression and Doppler frequency shift sensing technologies featured in the DRS4DNXT, as well as offering the same simplified connection with TZtouch and TZtouch2. Additionally, the DRS6ANXT offers direct connection to 12VDC power for cable runs up to 10 meters (standard supply), without the need for an external power supply. With the introduction of the new DRS6ANXT, your recreational and commercial customers now have Furuno Solid State Radar options, ranging from a 24" Radome (DRS4DNXT) to a 6-foot Open Array (DRS6ANXT), providing the perfect NXT generation solution for vessels of all shapes and sizes.
Target Analyzer
Target Analyzer may be one of the most innovative and revolutionary features available in the NXT family, automatically changing the color of targets approaching your boat to clearly show potential hazards. Green echoes represent stationary targets, land, or approaching targets moving at a velocity of less than 3 knots. Echoes dynamically turn red when targets are approaching your vessel at a speed of 3 knots or faster. It works the same when you are following another vessel. If the target is getting closer at a speed of 3 knots or more, the echo will be depicted in red. Incredibly, Target Analyzer works independently of one's own ship speed!
Target Tracking
Interpreting and tracking threats is easier than ever with NXT Radars. Using Furuno's advanced Doppler technology, NXT Radars acquire and track targets in virtually every sweep. Almost instantly, you'll see the target's speed and course vector, and if the target is hazardous, it will also be displayed in red, making it easier to identify and predict its course. The NXT Radar's incredible ARPA signal processor tracks and displays up to 100 targets! The entire target theater can be viewed, monitored, and tracked simultaneously, at any range. For an even more detailed display, target trails and Furuno's unique True Trail feature can be utilized, allowing you to graphically see the direction in which a target is moving, independent of your own vessel's motion.
Bird Mode
Bird Mode is another standard feature found in NXT Radars. With a single selection on the MFD, the Radar automatically adjusts settings for echo enhancement to help locate birds. Of course, finding birds is an important step to zeroing-in on the bite.
RezBoost
The resolution of NXT Radars is already impressive, but we've taken it a step further by incorporating our exclusive RezBoost beam sharpening technology. With RezBoost set to maximum, NXT Radars offer enhanced target separation, in addition to its impressive long range target detection.

New 1815 Standalone Color Radar
Delivers Commercial-Grade Features
In A Compact, Competitive Package!
Furuno has a long history of bringing the best in Radar technology to both the commercial and recreational markets, and we're once again set to raise eyebrows and expectations with the introduction of the 1815 Standalone Color LCD Radar. This new, compact Radar incorporates many of the latest innovations generally found in commercial-grade systems, such as Fast Target Tracking (TT), which allows users to easily acquire and track up to 10 targets. Each tracked target's speed and vector info is available in seconds, making quick work of assessing hazards from moving and approaching targets. In addition to TT, the 1815 can display up to 100 AIS targets, when interfaced with a compatible AIS Receiver and applicable sensors. Another useful feature is True Trail mode. With True Trails, moving targets show motion stabilized gradation trails in their wakes, making it possible to quickly assess the target's historical movement.
The 1815 also utilizes Furuno's exclusive "True View" mode to make reading the display even more intuitive. For example, when your vessel is turning, echoes remain visible on the display, so you can constantly view the targets, without waiting for them to update after the turn. This is especially useful when turning to avoid hazardous targets.
Clutter rejection is simply outstanding with the new 1815 Radar, as it automatically eliminates unnecessary echoes to present a clear display image with every sweep of the antenna. The 1815 easily acquires other vessels, buoys and objects in good weather, as well as when sudden fog and storms create poor visibility.
Here are some key features for the 1815 4kW Radar:
8.4" Portrait Color LCD Display (IPx6 Rating)
Compact and Lightweight 4kW Radome Antenna
Fast Target Tracking provides instant heading and speed info for up to 10 targets

Risk Visualizer™
Risk Visualizer™ is a technology that shows potential collision areas based on the current position and movement of all surrounding vessels. Thanks to the on-screen display, it is easy to get a quick and intuitive overview of the situation around your ship. Additionally, color-coded alerts according to the threat of a collision, from green (normal) to red (hazardous), will help you assess the level of danger and plan your next move. This is our first commercial mid-range Radar to incorporate this feature, which contributes to the continuous improvement of safety at sea.
Fast Target Tracking™
Fast Target Tracking™ is a technology that instantaneously displays a vector indicating the speed and heading of the target. The targets are automatically tracked from the beginning, making it possible to immediately calculate the target's trajectory and display the velocity vector.
Target Analyzer™
Target Analyzer™ is a technology that analyzes targets and identifies the dangerous ones that are likely to collide with your ship, using different colors according to the degree of danger. The display of potentially dangerous targets in different colors allows an operator to understand threats to safe navigation at a glance.
Echo Average
Echo Average is a feature that attenuates irregular echoes, such as reflections from the sea surface and precipitation, and stabilizes echoes from fishing gear and other vessels. It makes it easier to see what you want to see, even in poor weather conditions such as high waves, precipitation, or dense fog.
Radar overlay on charts/Share points and lines
The FR-12 can show Radar echoes overlaid on MapMedia MM3D charts. Additionally, when connected to the GP-3700/F* via Ethernet, marks, and lines can be displayed.
