Sierra fuel water separators remove over 98.8% of emulsified water from gasoline. Sierra's 10 micron filters are over 90% efficient at removing particles as small as 10 micron. Ethanol blended fuel absorbs more water and loosens more particulants than regular fuels. All filters flow at 90 GPH. ONLY SUITABLE FOR ABOVE DECK APPLICATIONS. USCG requires a flame resistant metal bowl for below deck applications.
