Lynx Power-In
The lynx power in module is used to connect batteries via an external fuse. It can be useful if you have multiple parallel strings. Due to the extremely high short circuit current potential of most battery banks, it is suggested to use an external fuse system with an appropriate fault current interruption rating (such as an NH HRC).
The Power In contains a negative and positive DC bus-bar with M8 bolts in which to connect batteries cables. It can take cables up to 22 mm in diameter through the bottom entry guides, and no limit via the two side connections.

Lynx Distributor
A modular DC bus bar, with locations for four DC fuses. It will monitor the status of each fuse, and indicate its condition with a LED on the front. Part of the modular Lynx distribution system.
Contains a positive and negative bus-bar and provides a connection for 4 individual DC equipment circuits, loads or DC groups. It has a space for individual DC fuses per DC group. There is an optional feature of an LED for each fuse to indicate if fuse is blown.
If you wish to use the fuse indication LEDs on the Lynx Distributor, it also requires a connection to a Lynx Shunt. The Lynx Shunt contains the necessary wide input (8 to 70VDC) power supply to output the required 5V (4,5V-5,5V) power requirement of the Lynx Distributor circuit board.
RJ11 fly leads are used to connect the Lynx Shunt to the Distributor. This RJ11 cable is supplied with the Distributor in the box. There are two ports on the Lynx Shunt, and it is possible to use either.
When all is OK, only the central LED is green; when a fuse has blown (or is missing) the central and blow fuse circuit LEDs turn red. If you are not using all connection points in your DC distribution, it may be necessary to fit dummy fuses to extinguish the red LEDs

Lynx Smart BMS 1000 Battery Management System for Lithium Smart Batteries
The Lynx Smart BMS is a dedicated Battery Management System (BMS) for the Victron Lithium Battery Smart batteries. These batteries are Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries and are available in 12.8 V or 25.6 V in various capacities. They can be connected in series, parallel, and series/parallel so that a battery bank can be built for system voltages of 12V, 24 V, or 48 V. The maximum number of batteries in one system is 20, which results in a maximum energy storage of 84 kWh in a 12 V and up to 102 kWh in a 24 V1) and 48 V1) system.
Out of the various available BMSes, the Lynx Smart BMS is the most feature-rich and complete option and integrates seamlessly into the Lynx Distributor system. This model is a 1000 A (M10) version.
Built-in 1000 A Contactor
The contactor acts as a secondary safety system to protect the battery in case the primary controls (ATC, ATD, and/or DVCC) fail to disable loads and/or chargers when required and is also suitable as a remote controllable main system switch.
Pre-charge Circuit
In addition to the contactor, a built-in pre-charge circuit prevents high inrush currents when connecting a capacitive load such as a MultiPlus/Quattro or other inverter, eliminating the need for external pre-charging.
Monitoring and Control
Monitor and control the BMS via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App or a GX device such as a Cerbo GX and the VRM Portal. A built-in battery monitor that operates similarly as the other Victron Energy battery monitors, provides data such as state of charge, voltage, current, historical data, status info, and more in real-time and with instant readout even without the need to connect to the BMS, allowing diagnostic at a glance.
DVCC closed Loop Control as Well as ATC/ATD Contacts
Compatible Victron inverters/chargers and solar chargers are automatically controlled via a connected GX device and DVCC. The ATC/ATD contacts can be used to control other chargers and loads that have a remote on/off port.
Programmable Relay
The relay can be used either as an alarm relay (combined with the pre-alarm) or to control an alternator via its external regulator (ignition cable). In Alternator ATC mode, the relay will only activate when the contactor is closed. Alternator ATC contact of the alternator opens first and then with a delay of 2 seconds the contactor. These 2 seconds ensure that the alternator is switched off before the battery is disconnected from the system.
AUX Terminal
The advantage of the onboard auxiliary power supply (1.1 A @ system voltage) is to provide power to specific loads (i.e. a GX device) after the BMS has shut down the loads in the event of a low cell voltage event. If no charge voltage is detected within 5 minutes, the BMS, including the AUX connection switches off.
VE.Can and NMEA 2000 Data Communication
VE.Can allows for easy connection (standard RJ45 network cable) and communication with a GX device. Since the CANbus protocol is based on NMEA 2000 (and J1939), it is easy to integrate into a marine network and feed a marine MFD with data (requires a VE.Can to NMEA 2000 micro-C male cable).
Lynx Distributor Fuse Monitoring
Read out the fuse status and receive an alarm in case a fuse is blown. The Lynx Smart BMS monitors up to 4 connected Lynx Distributors and their fuses via VictronConnect or a GX device 1) To reduce the required balancing time, we recommend using as many different batteries in series as possible for the application. 24 V systems are best built using 24 V batteries, and a 48 V system.
This System Contains the Following Components:
Lynx Distributor with 2 fused paralleled lithium-ion smart batteries.
Lynx Smart BMS with BMS, contactor, and battery monitor
A second Lynx distributor provides fused connections for inverter/charger(s), loads and chargers (additional modules can be added if more connections are needed)
A Cerbo GX (or other GX device) to read out the Lynx Smart BMS and Lynx Distributor data.

GX Tank 140 Tank Monitoring for 4-20 MA, 1-10VDC Sensors - Monitors Up to 4 Sensors *Sensor Not Included
The GX Tank 140 takes readings from up to four tank level sensors. It is an accessory for our range of GX system monitoring products, of which the Cerbo GX is the most commonly used model.
Tank levels can be read out locally in the system, see screenshot, as well remotely through our VRM Portal.
The GX Tank is compatible with current senders (4 to 20 mA) as well as voltage senders (0 to 10 V). The connection to the GX Device is via USB, which is also how the GX Tank is powered: no additional power wires are required.
Tank sender wiring is kept as simple as possible: two of the four inputs provide a 24 V power supply, to power the sender. The other two channels do require an external power supply, and there is power in the terminal together with fused outputs to facilitate that.
Upper and lower limits are configurable, to allow using senders that provide only part of the scale, for example, 0 to 5 V.
To provide a stable reading, the readings are averaged damping. The damping can be configured between 1 and 60 seconds.
Faulty sensors and wiring issues are detected: an alarm will be raised when values are out of range.
For marine applications, the GX Device can transmit these tank levels on the NMEA 2000 network to be picked up by other displays such as an MFD.

Inverters allow users to power domestic equipment - requiring 230V/120V AC - using 'leisure' or 'automotive' batteries rated at 12V, 24V or 48V DC.
*This inverter has a GFCI Duplex Outlet.
E.Direct Communication Port
The VE.Direct port can be connected to:
A computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable needed)
Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBook, and other devices
(VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle needed)
Fully Configurable:
Low battery voltage alarm trip and reset levels
Low battery voltage cut-off and restart levels
Dynamic cut-off: load-dependent cut-off level
Output voltage 210 - 245V
Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sense level
Monitoring:
In- and output voltage, % load, and alarms
Proven Reliability
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years.
The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High Start-Up Power
Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or electric tools.
ECO Mode
When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15W). Once on standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.
Remote On/Off
A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector, or between battery plus and the left-hand contact of the two-pole connector.
LED Diagnosis
Please see the manual for a description.
To Transfer the Load to Another AC Source: The Automatic Transfer Switch
For Victron’s low-power inverters, they recommend the Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
