FM4800 VHF Radio with AIS, GPS & Loudhailer
Marine VHF Radiotelephone with Class D DSC, GPS Receiver, AIS Receiver and Simplified Loud Hailer
The FM4800 is a marine VHF radiotelephone with built-in Class D DSC, GPS Receiver, AIS Receiver, and Simplified Loud Hailer with intercom. Its compact housing enables it to be installed in a variety of craft, even vessels where space is limited, such as center-console boats. The unit can be mounted on its lightweight bracket, either desktop or overhead, or it can be flush mounted. The FM4800 shares a common appearance with other Furuno equipment, such as NavNet TZtouch2, NavPilot 711C, and the FI70 Instrument series, offering an integrated appearance to any helm.
With its built-in GPS receiver, the FM4800 does not require an external GPS source to enable its DSC functionality. The unit can be used as a backup source of GPS positioning for other onboard electronics. Its built-in AIS Receiver can be used to overlay AIS targets with networked GPS Plotters or MFD's, such as NavNet TZtouch, NavNet TZtouch2, or GP1871F/GP1971F combo units.
Built-In GPS, DSC & AIS
An existing GPS source can be connected to the FM4800, and it can share its own GPS, DSC and AIS information via NMEA0183 or NMEA2000. When connected via NMEA2000 to any NavNet TZtouch2 MFD, DSC calling can be initiated directly from the TZtouch2 MFD by simply tapping on the AIS/DSC target and selecting [DSC Call]. Additionally, when MOB (Man Overboard) is activated on a TZtouch2 MFD, the FM4800 enters a special mode where you can initiate a distress call by simply pushing the rotary knob.
Loud Hailer, Intercom & Listen Back Features
The FM4800 can operate as a simplified Loud Hailer with intercom, featuring 8 patterns of alert sounds. Loud Hailer, Fog Horn and Warning Signal features are all available, enhancing onboard safety and communications while navigating in the dark or fog. When connected with the second-station handset, intercom communications are available, allowing communications between the two devices. Additionally, the horn speaker can be used to collect external sounds and transmit them through the built-in speaker with a function called Listen Back. In this way, a person on the deck can easily communicate with the bridge, a particularly useful feature for a variety of fishing vessels and workboats. The Listen Back function can also be an effective tool on sport fishing vessels, allowing the horn speaker to collect the sound from fishing rods and lines when you get a strike.
Features:
NMEA2000 Certified VHF, AIS Receiver, 30-Watt Loudhailer, GPS & Remote DSC
Simplified installation thanks to its pigtail cables & "5-in-1" configuration
Dual-station operation w/optional HS4800 full-function remote (up to 30 meters)
Single NMEA2000 connection for backup GPS/AIS Receiver/Remote DSC

The AIS700 from Raymarine is a Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) transceiver designed for use with Raymarine multifunction navigation display systems. AIS is an international marine navigation safety system that allows participating vessels to silently exchange key navigation information including vessel name, identification, course, speed and more. AIS contacts can be displayed on Raymarine multifunction displays, chartplotters, radar displays and select instruments. As a Class B AIS transceiver, the AIS700 not only receives broadcasts from other vessels, it also transmits your own boat’s information too helping you to be seen on other vessels’ systems.
The AIS700 is engineered using the very latest SO-TDMA (Self Organized Time Division Multiple Access) networking technology which allows it to perform faster and at longer ranges than d speed over previous generation AIS products. For ease-of-installation, the AIS700 has a built in VHF-band antenna splitter which allows it to share a single antenna with your current VHF radio. AIS700 also has its own internal, dedicated 72-channel GPS receiver with external antenna as required by international standards.
AIS700 also supports both hardware and software-enabled Silent Mode. This allows you to temporarily restrict broadcasting your vessels own data, while continuing to receive updates from surrounding traffic. Silent Mode can be particularly useful when transiting waters where extra security is a concern, or even in competitive tournament scenarios when you might want to prevent other from finding out the location of the hot bite. Normal AIS safety broadcasts can be easily reinstated with a few simple touches of the AIS controls in your Raymarine MFD, or with the flip of a switch for hardware-silenced systems.
The AIS700 is super-compact for easy mounting inside your helm, in a service locker, or other out-of-the-way location. It can connect to your other onboard electronics using the latest NMEA2000 networking. AIS700 also has a built-in NMEA0183 multiplexer to assist in connecting it to older MFD’s and VHF radio systems. AIS700 also has a built-in USB 2.0 connection that can be used to tie the transceiver into a computer or laptop running AIS compatible navigation software. AIS700 has a Secure Digital (SD) memory slot that can be fitted with an owner-suppled flash memory card for continuous recording of the AIS data stream.
Features:
Full transmit and receive AIS for enhanced situational awareness and safety
Latest SO-TDMA networking for longer range and faster performance
Built-in antenna splitter simplifies installation with existing VHF radio antenna

With the integrated GPS receiver the Link-9 now has four ways to ensure you have a GPS fix in the event of an emergency.
A GPS antenna in the face of the radio means open air installations don’t need another antenna at all
An SMA connector on the rear case allows for connection to a GPS-500 antenna
NMEA 0183 allows you to get GPS from a chartplotter
NMEA 2000 means you don’t need another antenna if you already have one in your network
Built in AIS:
A dual-channel AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS-equipped vessels, helping you to avoid collisions in crowded harbours and waterways.
AIS information can be viewed on the Link-9’s built-in screen, or overlaid on your chart or radar screen through a compatible multifunction display.
Remote Mountable Fist Mic:
The Link-9’s removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cable allows the radio and mic to be mounted separately.
This offers a simple and cost-effective solution for any mounting location, with no cable clutter.
For example, the Link-9 can be mounted overhead, with no hanging cables, while the mic is connected to an extension socket on the dash below.
Mount From The Front:
Link-9 features easily removable top and bottom bezels which reveal mounting holes allowing the same style of mounting from the front that is featured on Lowrance MFDs.
Track Buddy:
Track buddy is a feature that automatically requests the position of another VHF radio. Simply enter the MMSI of the VHF into your contact list, then start tracking!
Track up to 5 buddies
Polls your contacts for their Lat/Long position automatically
Can be set to 1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minute intervals
Displays the position on a compatible chart plotter
Great for keeping track of friends, family or vessels you need to know the position of that don’t have AIS
Navigation Mode:
Press the NAV button on the Link-9 to turn it into a navigational instrument displaying your Speed and Course.
Link-9 also contains a Man Overboard (MOB) function, hold down the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint on your current location and the Link-9 will enter MOB mode to show you how far away you are and where you need to steer to get back to the position of the MOB event. The MOB waypoint is also transmitted over NMEA 2000 to the rest of your network.

FM4850 Black Box VHF Radio with GPS, AIS, DSC & Loudhailer
The Ultimate 5-In-1 Tool of VHF Radios
The FM4850 is a marine Black Box VHF radiotelephone with built-in Class D DSC, AIS Receiver, and Simplified Loud Hailer with intercom. Its compact housing enables it to be installed in a variety of craft, even vessels where space is limited, such as center-console boats. The FM4850 handset shares a common appearance with other Furuno equipment, such as NavNet TZtouch2, NavPilot 711C, and the FI70 Instrument series, offering an integrated appearance to any helm. Its built-in AIS Receiver can be used to overlay AIS targets with networked GPS Plotters or MFD's, such as NavNet TZtouch, NavNet TZtouch2, or GP1871F/GP1971F combo units.
Built-In DSC & AIS
An external GPS antenna can be connected to the FM4850, and it can share its own GPS, DSC and AIS information via NMEA0183 or NMEA2000. When connected via NMEA2000 to any NavNet TZtouch2 MFD, DSC calling can be initiated directly from the TZtouch2 MFD by simply tapping on the AIS/DSC target and selecting [DSC Call]. Additionally, when MOB (Man Overboard) is activated on a TZtouch2 MFD, the FM4850 enters a special mode where you can initiate a distress call by simply pushing the rotary knob on the handset.
Loud Hailer, Intercom & Listen Back Features
The unit can operate as a simplified Loud Hailer with intercom, featuring 8 patterns of alert sounds.
