System Requirements

.NET Framework 1.1 or Above

Captn's Log is based on Microsoft's .NET Framework. It therefore requires that you have the .NET framework installed on you computer prior to installing Captn's Log.  The .NET framework is available free of charge from Microsoft and can be installed in minutes.  To get a copy of the .NET framework go to www.microsoft.com/downloads.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

• Intel (x86) or compatible process. A Pentium (TM) or compatible processor is recommended.
• About 30 MB of free disk space
• 64 MB of RAM (128 MB is recommended)
• Screen Resolution of 800x600

Operating System Support

Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional are the only two versions currently fully    supported.

    (Check www.clrmarine.com for the latest OS support list as other platforms will be added over time.)

    The .NET Framework is however supported on the following additional operating system versions:

• Windows 2000
• Windows  98
• Windows ME
• Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a

    In theory Captn's Log will work on these additional platforms just fine (if  the .NET Framework has been installed). At the time of this release however these OS versions have not be tested, and are therefore not officially supported. You are welcome to install Captn's Log on these platforms and use the product "at your own risk".
